This is video of me playing a full solo recital on July 30, 1983. This was at the height of my piano training. I was taking weekly lessons, practicing 6-8 hours several days a week, and trying desperately to overcome the extreme stage-fright I experienced when playing in front of people. This was the primary reason for the recitals I played. To that end, I invited everyone I knew. Unfortunately, not very many people came, but just the same, playing these recitals helped get me started towards being able to play in front of people without completely freaking out.
