Solfeggietto

I was exposed to this piece as a child, and it’s always been one of my favorites.  I had, however, never learned to play it.  So a while back I decided to add it to my repertoire, and this is the (current) result.  Of course, with classical music, no recording can ever be exactly perfect, and this is no exception.  I have a long way to go with this piece, but you’ll get the idea when you listen.

This well-known classical piece, written by P. E. Bach, one of the sons of Johann Sebastian Bach, is played by virtually everyone who is serious about piano, at some point in their training. It's deceptively difficult, given that most of the time the player is only playing a single note at a time.
